Governing Systems
A system is a set of elements operating together to form a complex whole. The nature of a system, can be civil or political, or economic, social or cultural. Structurally, any system have five essential elements: (1) principles, (2) rules, (3) processes, (4) institutions and (5) actors.
The challenges are both internal and external. Internally these elements are intertwined with each other and have their spatial (ior institutional) and temporal (eg actors' mandate). Externally, the environment is dynamic and competitive.
The solution to the challenges is itself s a system. It is the process of governing any institutions (small or big) through basic principles, detailed rules by high-powered institutions and personnel. If actors in governance fail to play their due role, they would be held accountable.
