Think & Do Big
We interact to get things done. Sometimes we might get so embroiled in processes that we or the team have forgotten the very goal of the interaction and therefore not playing our due roles. Are we detail-oriented?
Systems of whatever nature, whether public or private, small or big, local or global, have five essential interconnecting elements: (1) principles, (2) rules, (3) processes, (4) institutions and (5) actors. Systems themselves should open to, and interact with, the dynamic external environment. While institutions or actors might reduce themselves to their interests first, they can still acquire new potential and qualities to achieve big if they continue to improve and thrive.
While we may not identify or recognize it, the fact is that we are elements or parts of the global creative or innovative ecosystem. Taking into account our objectives, resources and constraints, there is always room for uplifting and transforming ourselves and our institutions in a holistic fashion. We start small, but think and do big.
We can demonstrate our commitment to striving for world class excellence in whatever we do. We can have global vision and the can-do attitude to accomplish our mission. Simply put, we should have the entrepreneurship spirit in conducting our businesses, whether public or private, whether based on knowledge, creativity, innovation or intellectual property.
