New Bricks

FADE IN:

EXT. CAR - DAY

PETER is at driver seat, waiting. We hear from car radio: "...property prices have gone down nearly 20%..."

PETER (V.O.)

Wow, that much? So quick?

"Brick" crumbling?

INT. LOBBY LOUNGE - DAY

Five-star and harbour view. A WAITER takes orders from a LADY (50s) and Peter.

PETER

(Pointing at the menu)

I'll have a "quick breakfast".

Croissant, grape juice and

latte.

The waiter nods.

PETER (Cont'd)

(To the lady)

Let me return to my new

vision. I see conditions to

establish an IP-based capital

market.

LADY

(Energized)

I like your vision a lot!

PETER

Sharing company ownership,

selling debts, mortgaging

property to raise capital. Why

not the buying and selling of

IP in a market place?

The lady nods and nods.

PETER (Cont'd)

No demand? Or no supply?

No value? Or no market?

The lady digests the message.

PETER (Cont'd)

The problems are inter-

related.

A pause.

PETER (Cont'd)

Due to the political-economic

controversy between US and

China, people be aware of

the power of intellectual

property.

The lady listens attentively.

PETER (Cont'd)

The innovative and disruptive

market can be a virtual and

therefore global. Hong Kong

and other visionary financial

centres are experimenting

regulatory sandboxes of new

business models.

Pausing. PETER (Cont'd)

Since your company's business

model is based on IP, you should

act timely!

The lady reflects.

PETER (Cont'd)

Drawing an analogy, I just want

to turn sand into "bricks".

The lady smiles.

PETER (Cont'd)

At the moment, individual IP is

just like a grain of sand. There're

many ways to turn sand into

bricks. But many people don't

know how to do it.

The waiter puts croissant, juice and coffees on the table.

PETER (Cont'd)

I suggest everybody have a

"quick breakfast". Some don't

get it and won't bother. They

have their own croissant, or

juice, or coffee.Or a full breakfast

is just too much or expensive.

The lady smiles.

PETER (Cont'd)

One way to be creative is to capture something in between.

Eg making a quick breakfast in

a 5-star hotel value for money!

The lady laughs as Peter puts butter and jam on his croissant and sips his juice and latte.

PETER (Cont'd)

At the core of any business or

economy in the 21stC, it is IP.

IP should be used as security

to raise capital. There are

unsecured ICOs (Initial Coin

Offerings). How about Security

Token Offerings STOs using IP!

The lady refills her coffee.

LADY

Yes, there's a lot that we've to

follow up.

INT. STUDY - DAY

Peter checks his computer photo files. He stops at a selfie depicting him at a sandy beach.

PETER (V.O.)

An alternative way of seeing

the world in a grain of sand -

nothing is too small if one

thinks and attempts big!
